Oh we know plenty about our T's! Otherwise, we wouldn't go back week after week. There is a certain gut instinct that tells us whether any given situation is safe or not and if we were not feeling good about the T we would not keep going back after a while. It is the nature of the give and take that gives us insight into another person in a relationship. For heaven's sake, they know more about us then we tell them right? So why not the other way aroun?
