The therapists I know would not do anything like coming here to look in. They are face-to-face types who want in depth, very immediate working with issues. The internet is the last place for that.

I think some perhaps know that this site exists. There may even be some who are curious. And like Stopdog speculated, maybe they should in a way check it out since they may learn something about clients that they may not necessarily be aware of.

In all truth, I think therapists do know a lot about what is posted here without necessarily knowing all the details or variations. It is not something that is included in training, though perhaps it should be. It is something that is encountered through experience, through colleagues, and through workshops. So eventually therapists get a sense of the types of concerns that people have about psychotherapy. And it makes sense that they would want to know and learn and understand since it is their chosen field. But that can occur in ways other than looking here.
