It's easier to find a job when you have one - I didn't take that advice myself, and as a result, I'm unemployed and very depressed because of that. I cannot emphasize enough that having work, even if it is intolerable, is much easier than idling your mind with nothing to do...that's just my opinion. Work and income are necessary evils in this existence.
