Glad I learned that lesson at a young enough age.

Can you imagine the horror!? I mean, straight jackets aren't even available in fuchsia!

Lmao 😂

If the only good thing about your current work situation is dollar signs, then I would strongly suggest transferring to a more forgiving environment.

Cutting back on luxury items or even downsizing is much better than ending up with zero income.

You could also try supplementing a smaller income with freelance work from home type opportunities, since you'll be spending less hours catching that overtime train...

From what you've written, work is having such a hugely negative impact on you that jobless isn't exactly a far fetched outcome from staying in a job you loathe...

I've had jobs drive me batshit crazy quite a few times, so I'm not just blowing smoke out my azz. Promise
I do believer you... from outside looking in i'd say quit your job... on the inside it's no where near that easy. Again I can goto a NEW department. .. like starting a new job. Go back to working 7 am to 3pm. I can't quit and go pick up a job at mic key d's... people would kill to have this job and I'm not tossing it to the waste side especially when there are many different depts that I may enjoy one and really get along with the people there... i can't quit a job just because i have bad episodes.. hopefully as time passes and 8 get more stable and can handle the job better.... i would seriously probably kill myself at that point if i quit this job.. again... I'm not posting this so people tell me to quit. . Again not an option.. and why quit when I can try new departments (basically a brand new job that's completely different with totally different coworkers) the post was to basically ask (NOT QUIT) what people thought about starting a new dept... going back to day shift. Getting off night shift.. good things? bad things? Starting a new job with new people? I just want things to consider and think about good or bad. FYI I may really enjoy this new job (I enjoyed my first job at this place but was stuck on midnights so yes it is possible) sorry for the bit of a rant.
