Hey there Codegrey! Welcome to the forums!
I have actually the diagonsis of both. reason being, while on a certain med, it enables me to be more out of my own self and to interact with people a bunch, which comes off as aspergers, and while i am not on the right dose of the med, i am classic autism. I was diagnosed with classic autism (Back then it was just "autism") when i was 4yr. i wasn't diagnosed with aspergers until my late teens when i was first placed on stimulants. (also growing up i went "mute" early on, and then gained a dx of "elective mutism" while in school).
In the books they have kind of became as all grouped up in one. and they took out a few other diagnosis on the spectrum, but added more stricter guidelines on what classifies as having the diagnosis.
my latest diagnosis axis thingy is such:
Axis 1: Biopolar NOS ; Aspergers Disorder ; Autism
Axis 2: Mood Disorder NOS
Axis 3: Borderline Personality Disorder
Axis 4: Epilepsy ; Ulcer Colitis

In which, i still do not agree that I have borderline personality disorder, but that doesn't change that they put it down there lol.. And I wish to put it completely as they had it(even if i don't agree lol).
