Hello Asuyuka: I don't have allot of great advice for you on this. It strikes me this may be something to talk through with a therapist. I suppose it may take some time for you to process it completely. If you find that it doesn't have that much impact on you, then perhaps it's best to just leave the past in the past. However, if you begin to find yourself ruminating about it & repeatedly thinking about digging further into this family history, then talking it through with a therapist may be worthwhile.
