I think it's obvious you're a good friend or your bud wouldn't keep trying to get you to join in her fun; you're an asset to her having a good time :-) I think everybody has up and down times, times when day-to-day gets in the way or school and work, etc. One of my best friends in my whole life lives maybe 1-1/2 hours away and I haven't seen her for 4-5 years though we email every 6 months and swear we're going to get together soon :-)
