I think maybe I'm just getting frustrated with this thread ... I don't need to look for new work. I need to look for a different area of work in my own job. I'm not asking for people to tell me to look for another job I'm asking for people to give me the good and bad of starting a new area of my own job (totally new coworkers totally new boss totally new area).. all I'm asking for is positives and negatives of starting a different job (keeping in mind again that.im right now on midnights and this "new job" would be back on days). I'm already completely aware of the hours. 7 to 3.

So positives and negatives of starting a new department not a recommendation to leave this job all together. .. I've already explained probably 3 times why I'm not planning on just quitting.
