I just had the oddest interaction related to the cat/dog thread. I have a 70lb. dog. She is harmless and sweet but can be intimidating and gets mistaken for a pit sometimes.

I've lived in my neighborhood most of 20 years. Had her several. First time ever, I take her out and she sees a white cat. She's normally oblivious to them (NO instincts whatsoever lol) and cats normally fear her in the typical manner.

But this cat didn't.

I let her walk toward it (on leash) and surprisingly, it walked toward us.

White, with accents of tan, quite lovely. The cat and she (dark brown brindle) looked at each other from about two feet away for quite a while. The cat was unruffled, downright friendly, seemed to wave its tail.

Afterward it just ambled off. I do believe it was the white girl version of a spirit animal en
counter lol, never had such a thing happen w/my dog out before.

I couldn't help but think of my earlier post.
