First off i am not a doctor and you should always discuss treatment options for anything with your doctor. and cause doctors are human too i always suggest double-checking information, especially drug interactions and side effects.

Bupropion also reduces appetite and i think its in trials right now for use as a weight loss drug actually. its an antidepressant that is sometimes prescribed off-label for adhd and also in small doses for quitting smoking. But like everything else appetite loss will wear off eventually. To reduce binge eating id suggest focusing on impulse control in general rather than cutting your appetite, because that should have a more long lasting effect. altho i kno how hard that is, i dont say that lightly haha.

one possibility is if you get appetite loss again from a different drug then be aware it will wear off and use that time to try to 'train' yourself around food if that makes sense? for example if you crave sugar or caffeine, ive experienced cutting out both of those and appetite loss accidentally helped me continue to avoid it until i broke the addiction. so when my appetite came back im able to moderate myself. but i suffered a lot of negative health effects from sudden weight loss too so be careful of course.

also on the note of medication effects wearing off, for stimulants because they are short-acting and get out of your system pretty quick i hear some people take yearly 'vacations' from them to return effectiveness, rather than continuing to up doses and get more resistant or something. since yours stopped so quick tho and of course theres the rash personally i wouldnt touch that particular drug ever again but it may be something to keep in mind
