Hello, sunsup, and welcome to Psych Central! Are you sure Vicodin is causing all these symptoms?

I actually see a doc who specializes in alleviating pain. Maybe you can be referred to one of those docs, who knows how to handle such things.

I also suggest you get a complete check-up. Have you had your spine checked for problems? It can cause symptoms such as pain down the legs.

I have spine problems and fibromyalgia. I take Tramadol, Norco, Tylenol, and Cymbalta for pain. I still have some pain, though. But I need to keep it at a minimum because it triggers my depression. (I have bipolar.)

From my experience, as I have gotten closer to totally getting off of a drug, the withdrawal symptoms tend to get worse.

Please try not to worry about "addiction," by the way, if you have never taken more than has been prescribed. We do what we need to do to get through life.

If need be, though, then you can see about going to some sort of place where they specialize in getting people off of certain drugs.
