Adware is sooo annoying. You are right about deleting the adware files... the "installation" of the adware puts a bunch of files all over the place and they reload the whole thing as soon as you connect to the internet. The computer I cleaned recently was so incredibly frustrating... I went through all of their files and everything loading at startup and I STILL couldn't prevent the popups. What finally worked was deleting as much as I could manually, then I ran Ad-aware AND Spybot one after the other... let each reboot and finish the file cleanup.

I just realized that I have been misreading your messaged... you mention adware and my eyes have been seeing ad-aware... which is another piece of software that blocks adware.

So that would be my first recommendation if you haven't tried it already. You can get Ad-Aware at
