I live in New Jersey. There are many inpatient options. I myself have been to six different facilities. There are more. But nj is more densely populated than the Midwest is. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I'm lucky to have access to such care and options to where I go. I can usually choose which hospital I want to go to when I have a breakdown which is nice because I really like the one hospital as they allow more freedoms than most.
I'm sorry you don't have access to such care. About paying for it, is there a such thing as charity care where you live?
