went to pdoc(emergency) sat for 1 hour and told them basic story.
they were supposed to asses me and change my meds. they sent me on my way saying 2 year waiting list - no assessment.
came home in state of pure utter anxiety - called crisis team. they told me to get an appointment at derby universitypsych team. they said 4 months waiting at least. took 2 diazapam. got a call from uni saying they had cancellation this afternoon, went, was assessed, promised to have 3 hour appointment with psychiatrist and have meds changed. initial dx is bi polar, ptsd, borderline and depression.
had all my pills comfiscated apart from ones i need. cant get psychotherapy until stopped having suicidal thoughts, so med change first then psychotherapy.
so lucky someone cancelled. just thought i'd let you know, have to wait for phone call now tomorrow from pdoc at uni, and then have a med change b4 therapy.
