Thank you Abe. What kind of program where you in (example: dual, trauma, etc.), and where are you from (I'm from Trenton, NJ which is part of both the Philly and NY metro area, although it's closer to Philly, so there are a lot of resources around her fortunately) Like I said, on my actual first day I was in the adult dual program, and it was BS. It was more SA than MH, I already knew everything, and the groups and topics were extremely lame .. except art cos even though I'm not an artsy person, it's fun. But in the women's groups you're actually learning stuff; they have a curriculum .. they give us a binder and bag full of paperwork and it's super intense stuff, and we always have homework, even if it's just filling out our diary card and journaling (optional). Nobody fully explained the back of the diary card to me yet, and just looking at the back is totally confusing, so yeah; def gonna learn ALOT.
