Hi TJ, really good news thanks for sharing with us
And taking it slow, not leaping into things............I know things like that can feel quite limiting, but they don't have to be bad things you know. Perhaps it's as much as adapting to them and becoming a bit more comfortable with the boundaries you need to have at this time, especially especially if you're not used to that pace.
There is still going to be room for your individuality/you to shine even at slower paces
And the anxiety about the future.........well it's the here and now that matters most isn't it, the recovery (which by the sounds of it you're doing very well with!!) ?? And you can still look to the future, maybe just fetch that down to the next day, or the next week?? It's still the future, and there's still progress going on.
And it's so good that you're being more open with people (your wife and cpn) about what's going on for you, that's really got to go a way to helping you get the support you need. Good on you!!!
And the personality disorder assessment.........real kudos to you for the way you're handling that approaching, be good to use the results as a tool in helping your path forward, hey?
Knowledge can be power, although I can see you've got a lot of that going on already!!
Alison
Thanks for this!
