Coping strats for anxiety-
Distractions to take your mind off it like computer games, reading a book, listening to music.
Step outside for a bit and focus on everything around you, the trees, flowers, clouds etc
Buy a relaxation CD/tape and make yourself practice it everyday.
Slow the breathing down, cup your hands over your face and breathe steadily for at least ten minutes.
Self talk- I am safe now, nothing dreadful is going to happen, I can get through this........
