Hi cool09, I completely go along with what hvert said..........it was a yes (and you had every right to ask him) and I wouldn't assume the worst.
And maybe he was worried about taking/being able to take time off work for whatever reason.
But then, maybe he's not seeing the procedure in the same way you're seeing it?? Perhaps he's seeing it as something really routine/basic/straightforward...........which some people may, but it's not to you is it? So maybe it would be good if you could talk to him a little more about what it means to you? Afterall it would be good if he knew where you're coming from, and offer you a bit more understanding/support, right?
