I joined today in the hope to find some information, hopefully even answers to what is going on in my brain. I believe i may have triggered some kind of drug-induced psychosis. A little background is that i know 100% that i have had 2 psychotic episodes (Due to LSD, and 2ce), and possibly more but i know of 2 definitely. Some more information:

• I don't really smoke weed often. (maybe once every 2-3 weeks)
  I have probably taken MDMA the most times out of any drug and never had an issue.
  Taken hallucinogens maybe a total of 15-20 times only had an issue with psychosis twice.

So the reason i have decided to look for information now rather then before is because last week around 5 days ago i had maybe 5-6 puffs of a marijuana joint and about 30 minutes later, some of the early symptoms of my previous psychotic episodes began to happen. This is the strange part; i managed to force the psychosis away by dedicating all my will power to not let it happen. The next 1 hours was me literally holding it down. After the initial 1 hour, the significantly obvious symptoms stopped. But ever since then i have felt minor symptoms of the psychosis like my brain feels very heavy, my heart begins to race randomly, i experience slight hallucinations (maybe 2-3 seconds) that occur few times a day.

Unlike my previous psychosis which lasted 3-4 hours. I felt completely normal when they ended after. This time its just constantly there. I constantly have the feeling that I'm about to have an episode.

Incase anyone didn't understand what I was trying to say: Ever since that joint 5 days ago, I've had all the feelings that occur right before/ at the beginning of a psychotic episode, but i haven't actually had one.

I don't want to see a doctor as i don't think my parents could handle going through this ordeal. My main concern is I've heard of been being admitted to mental wards for more then a day.. i just can't afford to take that risk.

My questions are is this even a drug-induced psychosis? Is it even common to the feelings of a psychotic episode about to start constantly?
