Not everyone gets withdrawals, but when you do, it is hellacious! I would definitely do a taper, otherwise you may really regret it as some have withdrawal symptoms that last the better part of a year. Best to be safe rather than sorry. There is a benzo forum out there that can help you through the withdrawals.
