Our bodies change. It could be that the new dose will improve things, or that you need another med to work with it. Even if other meds didn't work for you in the past, maybe some are worth revisiting in combination with the lithium. I look at it like a Rubic's Cube of moveable meds. And it's a new cube each time because of changing chemistry and hormones.
