Are you sure the "certain weight" you get down to is a healthy weight? I asked my doctor to give me a weight goal and it was far above what i had thought.
You've probably heard of set-points, the natural weight our bodies settle at when eating healthy. Perhaps yours is just above what you'd like it to be. You'll spend a lot of energy fighting it that could go into more satisfying things.
Anyways, just my thoughts. I'm not a doctor or dietician. Take what you like and leave the rest.
