It's kind of like being asleep all the time with your eyes open and your body doing things an mind thinking things but you're asleep. I can't connect with anything or anyone. Hard to describe. But it's been chronic, non-stop 24-7. I have no idea what to do about this. I don't think about it so much now but it really affects me quite a bit nonetheless. Ok so talk to your pdoc or t right? Nope. There are zero pdocs accepting patients in my city right now. Zero. Ok so t? Well, Ts are very expensive and right now I'm only going once every 4-5 weeks. I don't know that she has a lot of experience with dissociation or treating it. I could switch but she's helping me with other things right now also which is great and she's given us a reduced rate which helps a ton. Just not an option to see someone else. Is there possibly Anything that I can do to overcome this? Or am I stuck?

Also if you are in college you can go to your colleges mental health /counseling office for free therapy. if I remember right when you first game one here last year you said you had a "nurse case manager" and some of your posts mention you see a therapist....what ever happened to that, maybe you can contact this nurse case manager, I know you said here in this post only see your therapist once every 4-5 weeks because its expensive. maybe you can talk to her about finding some community agencies or grants. sometimes colleges get benefactors who donate money for scholarships for students who may need medical or mental health care besides school financial help.here in NY we also have churches that supply therapy, no matter what the denomination. Im baptist and once went to catholic charities for therapy because I could not afford to pay a psychiatrist. we also have agencies like planned parenthood and others that supply therapy for little to no money depending upon ones income level.... just throwing out some ideas for you ....
