Don't feel ashamed for feeling childish. It can sometimes be a good thing. I remember one time I was acting very child-like in therapy, and my T just had the sweetest smile on her face. I asked her why and she told me that my child-likeness brought up the her inner child and she thought it was beautiful.
Try not to control everything. It's okay to go into therapy sometimes and just be. Sometimes those sessions can be more helpful then when you go in with a plan. I know 50mins is short...and waiting a whole week to get another 50mins is forever. I still struggle with that. I actually have an app on my phone to countdown to my next session.
