Buspirone works for some, not for others. Don't expect it to work immediately, because it won't. It is not that kind of medication. It needs time to build up in your system, and its effects won't be as dramatic as with a benzodiazepine. It worked well for me, but I had side effects as my body doesn't tolerate drugs that work on serotonin levels.
