Uhm, you can NOT diagnose most mental illnesses if symptoms were experienced under the influence of drugs, so its complete and total horse hockey to say that experiencing mania while under the influence of psychiatric medication means that you are bipolar!

I experienced psychosis while under the influence of an over the counter medication, and as such could not be diagnosed with anything unless the psychosis returned sans drugs. No more psychosis, ever, so no disorder.

That would be like saying crack cocaine makes you psychotic so you have a mental disorder, even though when you are not on the drug you never experience psychosis. The psychiatric world never ceases to amaze me!
Thanks for this!
