Im sorry to disagree but no where in the show did he ever question the validity of this woman nor her therapist (who were both there on the show) and no where did he ever state he felt this therapist or any past therapists have influenced this woman. though he did make the generalized statement that there are documentations to situations where treatment providers have caused their clients (not the one on the show) to appear to be DID. he used the examples three faces of eve and sybil (both of which have many times over been the brunt of controversy and possibly fabricated situations of DID by their treatment providers.
I just went to youtube and rewatched the show and still I do not see any references implied nor otherwise of DR phil questioning this woman and her therapist as to the validity of the disorder. in fact he goes out of his way to make sure he does not do this to the point of talking with her alters, asking her alters what they would like everyone to know and be clear about and how he can best help them.
Im sorry if you saw the show and felt he was agaisnt this disorder, the client and her husband and therapist but I just didnt get that from the show. I stand by my opinion.
