I used the bio-oil on scars that were less than a year old (but more than 1-2mths old..sorry, can't remember exactly!) and got the above-mentioned results. I used the wheatgerm oil on scars that were 2 yrs old. These scars are now over 10yrs old and still quite noticable at times, altho when compared with the scar from where a mole was removed 4 yrs prior to them they are almost invisible! My psych nurse was going to look into the laser treatments used to remove tattoos. We haven't done so yet, but am hoping that when it is more affordable this might be an option.
