Short Answer: Yes, I have used a crisis line (
Veterans Crisis Line) . The counselor's counsel was to present at an emergency room, which I did while in an irrational state. No, I personally will not resort to a crisis line again; instead I will use extra doses of my antianxiety medication, for which my pdoc has given me a green light.
