Hello guys. It's been a while since I've been on this site and I'm very sorry for that...we just moved from another country and have been getting settled for a few months.

I had a question about depression and the implanon...tried looking on Google but couldn't find anything related to after the implanon's been removed. I had the implant for a year and a half, and got it removed due to horrible side effects...depression, loss of libido, weight gain, acne, probably others. Luckily my libido came right back but that's about it...I still have acne, haven't lost the 40 lbs I gained, and I still feel depressed. It's been about 5 months since I've had it removed and I was just wondering if anyone's experiences with Implanon have been like this and if it will wear off soon (5 months not long enough?) or if I may need help. I have a fear of going to the doctors and really don't want to go if I just need more time. I always blamed my depression on something else...we're from a sunny climate and were living in Germany (cold, dreary most of the time) for 3 years and I thought it was the weather making me depressed, combined with the Implanon. Now we live in beautiful, sunny Texas and I'm not on any hormones so I can't blame it on anything, but I still don't feel like myself. I'm just not sure what to do and would appreciate any advice.
