Hi. I don't have cyclomania but I thought I'd throw in my two cents worth of AD experience.

The only time my AD was tapered off very quickly was when my PDOC said I was having a mixed episode or beginning to show signs of hypomania as he said the AD could make symptoms even worse. I don't remember stopping cold turkey but certainly tapering down rather rapidly.

I've recently been going through a depressive phase and my PDOC upped my antipsychotic - seroquel - from 50mg up to 400mg.
