I was curious about your stopping your antidepressant when you're in hypomania. I don't know allot about this stuff. But I've never heard of simply going off-&-on an antidepressant at different times. Are you on a very small dosage? I take 120mg of Cymbalta per day (the highest normal dosage.) There's no way I could just stop it cold turkey, so to speak, & then restart it again even a day or two later...

When I have a crisis I call my clinic to explain..than they give me advice or my doctor calls me back. after asking questions..she wanted me to come to the clinic the next day until then I was to start taking my seroquel again..when I saw her she told me to stop the antidepressant, she upped the seroquel and sent me for blood work. so I guess it's not really cold turkey..it's was sort of replaced and it did slow me down.
