Hello. I am new to this board. I was diagnosed as bipolar type II about 2 years ago. I have a 16 year old and an almost 2 year old boys. I am in a supportive relationship. I just wanted to introduce myself and see if there are others that are in the same boat as I. I was hospitalized in June for depression. I was suicidal. I've been feeling quite a bit better these days but still struggle occasionally. I'm on Abilify and zoloft for meds. The past few days I will have moments of overwhelming sadness and hopelessness. They don't last very long but are very intense. Is this common?
