Well you were brave enough to put yourself out there, her reaction should not be your concern. You did your job, and she now has to do hers. What's important is that you are honest about who you are, and standing by who you are. In time people will either learn to accept you if they are decent, and if they don't you can just trim them out of your life, for they aren't people you need around you.
