I agree. I've been to lots of them, my own and others. Dull, dull, dull.

When I graduated from nursing school we had a separate ceremony called a "Pinning Ceremony" where we wore our white uniforms (this was a long time ago) and received our nursing pin from the Dean of the school. It was short and sweet. It was the only graduation ceremony I found tolerable.
