Psyche meds get a lot of bad press lately and for very valid reasons. There are studies that say anti depressants are no better than placebo. Side effects, withdrawal, diabetes, etc, etc. The real world data seems to say they are effective in a certain percentage of people. 30 to 50%. I am not sure. There is the StarD study done by NIMH.
I am very interested in why they work good for some and not for others. Of course probably no one can answer that for me. Not enough is known.
I thought I would bump this thread to see if any others want to report success with meds.
