My grandmother was Manic Depressive and I was diagnosed with Bipolar I when I was in my twenties. It has taken me having another psychotic break and a couple manic episodes to really accept the diagnosis.
There aren't a lot of face to face support groups around for Bipolar. Hope this online site helps.
