Halliebeth87,
I also wear a night guard at night now and it does help me as well. Problem was on the Celexa I would clench often throughout the day and couldn't seem to control it. Since I've been off the Celexa I've been able to keep my TMJ under control. I no longer clench during the day. I learned though a physical therapist that my teeth should not touch during the day and how to keep them apart. After some practice I got it down pretty well. Then I wear my night guard to bed and I'm good for the most part. Sometimes it flares up and I see the PT. Best thing is I don't have to take pain killers or muscle relaxers anymore. I hate taking any kind of med for a long period of time because of side effects.
