I have to ask why you are putting up with akasthesia? there are tons of antipsychotics out there, ask for another one. your drs work for you. it may take a while and it is frustrating changing meds all the time but you can find meds that work without having to tolerate side effects that drive you bonkers. I was changing meds monthly, every two months. it drove my drs crazy, but I refused to tolerate side effects. I really advocated for myself. they would say wait and see if it wears off and I would refuse. I wasn't going to suffer any longer than I had to. my mental illness was suffering enough. so I changed meds often and finally found the meds that worked with no side effects. it is affecting your life and work in a negative way. you don't need to put up with that. take care.
