I have done the same thing. Hydrocodone is like a miracle for depression and anxiety in my book. However it is not a good idea at all. For me even though I was taking it when not in pain to feel better I knew that I had only a small supply and once the script ran out that was it. I was not going to go looking for more either legally or illegally. The risks are way to high and opiate addiction would make my depression and anxiety that much worse.

I wouldn't think they gave you to much because they pain goes away pretty quickly after a tooth is removed. Just don't get anymore.
