Don't see him. I was in a strangely similar situation where I paid a fortune to see a pdoc who primarily specialized in kids but dabbled in adults. He was super-arrogant (like many pdocs) and couldn't admit when he was out of his depth because he knew more about kids than adults. He gave me bad advice about medications during pregnancy instead of admitting that he didn't stay up to date with the new research on that issue (fortunately I switched pdocs after that and found someone good).

Would your GP know someone? Or even just look on your insurance website. Seeing a kid pdoc can really be a problem if you aren't a kid! Good luck!
