I do seem to remember reading here once before that the anon people online are related to forum software - or something like that - I could be way off base.

I was just curious to see that 41 people are online of which 24 are members. Are the other 17 people online "software"?

This is in no way trying to stir up a hornets nest on online privacy or anything like that - I am just genuinely curious.
