Reviews like that are never easy...

It can be easy for supervisors to start thinking in terms of only that snapshot and see things through those glasses. Do what you can to meet and exceed the minimums set - I hate to have you need a different job.

I would rather have you looking and securing a different line of work instead of that decision being made for you...

Not sure where here is - but this could be an opportunity to consider relocating?
