Medication is certainly not a case of one size fits all because what works for some certainly doesn't go down with others.

The best pdoc you can find is one who is willing to listen and work with you and not pump you full of meds that have not worked for you in the past. So you would need discussions around meds that you think hinder rather than aid you.

You're likely to be on a mood stabilizer and an antipsychotic ? (Because you've been on seroquel in the past).

Can you do some research on the above 2 and look for user reviews. No reason why you can't go in with some "suggestions". Your pdoc will put you on meds that will best suit you.
