Sleep can be very stabilizing in my experience. Getting regular sleep, alongside darkness therapy, fully addressed the rapid cycling I had been experiencing. I haven't had an episode of hypomania/depression since I've been making regular sleep a priority. I sincerely recommend darkness therapy, it's been very helpful in keeping me stable. Sleep, diet, exercise, and some supplements now address my treatment resistant depression better than my AD ever has.
