Over what time frame is this measured? I think whenever you see a therapist or psychiatrist they measure it to see if your doing better or worse.

What is a GAF score, when are they given, why are they given, It's the global assessment of functioning. It use to be given in ER and I guess intake or when seeing a MH professional.

I've never been given a GAF score I don't think I was suppose to know but when two or more professionals are in the same room they seem to forget I'm there.
