Hello Evaluna: Yes, I can see how knocking on strangers' doors could be nerve wracking. I did it as a kid many, many years ago. But I wouldn't do it now for anything! The other problem today is: who knows what's being given out? I think if I had a child today, I'd try to find some type of Halloween activity for the child to attend. I know, in our area, there are such things at places like: shopping malls, zoos, & churches. Some private families even throw parties for the kids in the neighborhoods. I do hope you can locate some alternative Halloween activities the two of you can attend. Best wishes...
