I have one only child daughter 36 years old.....we are a long line of only children & I didn't believe that I could ever be a good mother so I didn't think it was fair to have kids.....she sort of snuck in on us a few years after we got married & before I got my degree.....added to my life challenges but so thaniful to have her as she is really my only family. I was an only child & both my parents were only children....makes for a very small family after my parents died....only have my daughter......we live across the US from each other.....but it's ok even though she hates the phone & only will text....but at least that's better than nothing.
