Hi! I am living in Norway with my son, and I have bipolar II. I like to write, recently joined PC. Even though people know about my illness, and my brother even has the same diagnosis as me, I find that having a mental illness makes it hard to make friends, and maintain friendships also. I have a few good friends, but I think I get on their nerves a lot, with my mood swings! I lived in east-coast US for close to ten years, so I sometimes feel a bit like an expat... Miss a lot of things about the states, even though I am happy to be back home in Norway also. NY/CT will always be home-away-from-home for me... Please feel free to send me a PM anytime.
