I take a lot of meds for bp 1 & several of them say to notify the dentist or doc if I'm going to have any procedures done. It seems the bp drugs may interfer with the drugs they want to use to knock you out. Don't know if you are on any meds, but that could be why a regular dosage didn't work.

My doc said to always notify the surgeions in advance what meds I'm taking. They may want me to dicontinue for awhile before the procedure.

I had morphine in the hospital & it didn't give me a high at all, just relieved the physical pain I was in.--Suzy
